Blessing Warriors
RVA
Blessing Warriors, RVA believes everyone deserves compassion regardless of their situation and how they arrived there. Our mission is to provide that compassion and support right where they are in the moment. Engaging with community support and volunteers, we reach out to the unsheltered and those in need to provide basic survival necessities. Everyone is blessed when we bless others.

Dehydration…..With limited options for shelter from the summer sun and potentially limited access to water, those experiencing homelessness are especially vulnerable.
We average 500 bottles of Water/Gatorade/Beverages per day during warmer weather. The past 4 years we were blessed to have 24 hr access to an Ice machine from Brian Graff; it is no longer working. The first thing Traci Byrd-Eagles and I noticed in our current building was the hook up for an ice maker…woohoo. A few months later, Traci purchased two Ice Scoops on faith that God would provide an Ice Machine.
Over the past 14 months we have invested time and energy speaking with restaurant owners, companies, testing ice until we have come up with the Ice maker that will best work with what we need. I’ve have had a plumber test the hook up system, an electrician is starting the work to connect the ice maker (FAITH)
The Ice maker system, with warranty, water purifier and wiring is a total of $12,000. The electrician was paid for by an anonymous donor….(FAITH).
THE NEW ICE MAKER WENT LIVE ON JULY 24TH!!!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!

about us
How it all started
Blessing Warriors RVA
began with a crockpot
and a pack of cups from
Dollar Tree in 2014 when
we saw people living in
doorways.
As we began helping people, others in the community asked how they could join us, and we grew.
We became a non-profit in 2018 and continue to help those in Richmond
who need it.
Blessing Warriors continues to change to meet the need
This past year more families with children have become unsheltered.
To help the families, our volunteers
books and treats for an
afternoon of fun for the kids and a break for parents
including detergent, dryer
sheets and snack
